Children with neurological conditions have a better chance of recovery thanks to the Nirvana system.

Starting in February 2024, the Medical Rehabilitation Unit within the Pediatric Orthopedics Department in Sibiu will benefit from a new, state-of-the-art piece of equipment designed to support motor and cognitive recovery in patients with neuromotor conditions.

The waiting list for young patients in need of rehabilitation stretched over several months, so we decided to lend a helping hand by acquiring the Nirvana system. This will allow them to benefit from a modern and efficient treatment as soon as possible, tailored to their needs.

Thanks to the efforts of the hospital’s medical team, the complex Nirvana recovery system has been installed in a dedicated, specially adapted room, as the equipment uses technologies based on virtual reality.

With Nirvana, performing recovery exercises is enhanced by high levels of neurosensory stimulation, based on visual and auditory feedback. Essentially, the young patient becomes the active protagonist of their own treatment through personalized exercises in an immersive, engaging virtual environment filled with the charm of play.

Supporting the community in which we operate is part of our company’s values. Children represent the most important resource we have as a community, which is why we believe that investing in their health and development is the best investment for the future.
