The Structure of Romania’s First Prefabricated based Hospital to be Made by CON-A

The prefabricated concrete structure, the metallic structure and the aluminum joinery elements of the new wing of the Bistrița County Hospital will be supplied by the largest integrated production industrial center in Romania, owned by our company. The project “Hospital extension with a new building 2B+G+4F+Receded floor, including a passageway between the existing and the proposed building” constructed in Bistrița will have a total area of approximately 17,100 sqm, housing over 200 beds.
We are proud to be part of the most ambitious public health investment project in Bistrița-Năsăud. This will also be the first hospital in Romania to be entirely constructed with a prefabricated structure. Some technical details include:
– 3,000 cubic meters of prefabricated concrete
– 2,800 cubic meters of monolithic concrete
– 150 tons of metallic structure
– 226 pillars
– 914 floor beams
– 1,407 floor elements
– 88 stair structure
The project consortium is led by Dimex 2000 Company SRL and the beneficiary is the Bistrița Năsăud County Council.
