This summer we will begin energy renovation work for a series of apartment buildings in Sibiu

Today, our company signed the contract for the design and execution of energy renovation works for a series of apartment buildings in Sibiu. The buildings under our company’s responsibility are located on the following streets:

  • Constituției No. 1 – Block 1, Rusciorului No. 19 – Block 75, Țiglari No. 1.
  • Rusciorului No. 1 – Block 69, C. Notarra No. 58, Ludoș No. 6 – Block 33, Ștefan cel Mare No. 147 – Block 10

In the first phase, the technical projects will be executed, for which 45 days are reserved, and within 12 months from the issuance of the start order, the actual works will be completed, consisting of:

  • Rehabilitation of roofs and attics
  • Restoration of exterior finishes and repair of facade construction elements that present a potential risk of detachment and/or affect the functionality of the building
  • Thermal insulation of the facade, both glazed and opaque parts, by replacing the existing exterior carpentry with thermal insulating carpentry
  • Thermal insulation of the slab above the top floor (where applicable) and the slab above the basement
  • Closing balconies and/or loggias with thermal insulating carpentry, including thermal insulation of the parapets
  • Rehabilitation of the staircase lighting system and replacement with energy-efficient lighting fixtures
  • Installation of alternative energy systems from renewable sources – electric solar panels
  • Replacement of elevators (where applicable)
  • Construction of a new perimeter sidewalk, waterproof, for protection

Sustainability and environmental protection are part of the values promoted by our company, and we make constant efforts to reduce energy consumption. We particularly appreciate the efforts made by local authorities, such as the Sibiu City Hall, to attract European funds for the energy renovation of apartment buildings. It is an extraordinary opportunity for Romania to attract European money and a context in which everyone wins: the residents of the buildings gain comfort and save money with lower energy consumption, the buildings become more durable over time and more aesthetically pleasing for the area they are in. We will make all efforts to start the actual works as soon as possible, so that the residents can enjoy the comfort of a renovated building in the near future.
