CON-A – Traditional Partner of the Sibiu Cycling Tour

The Sibiu Cycling Tour is a professional road cycling race held in Sibiu, Romania, under the regulations of the International Cycling Union and the Romanian Cycling Federation. The first edition took place in July 2011 and was accredited by the UCI Europe Tour. Since then, the Sibiu Cycling Tour has become an important and remarkable competition in Southeast Europe, hosting World Tour, Professional Continental, Continental, and national teams.

Being held entirely around the city, in Sibiu County, the tour stages includes a prologue on the city’s cobblestone streets, two climbing stages: one on the Transfăgărășan road to Bâlea Lake and a second to the mountain resort Păltiniș and a mixed stage. The tour is registered as a class 2.1 event and is open to professional athletes in the Men Elite and U-23 categories. The event is included annually in the UCI Europe Tour calendar.

Every year, a large group of amateur cyclists among our employees joins the event at the Sponsors’ Cup, to experience a bit of the joy and adrenaline of the competition.

We are pleased to be traditional partners of the event and have the opportunity to share the enthusiasm of a quality sports competition year after year.
